Product description
The Prestige Top Dressage saddle is an outstanding product that is characterized by its versatile adaptation possibilities to different horse morphologies. Thanks to the various cushions available, the saddle can be individually adjusted, thus offering maximum comfort for rider and horse.
The Top Dressage Standard saddle features integrated panels that ensure optimal pressure distribution. For additional comfort and stability, "wedge panels" are also integrated. These provide an even better adaptation to the horse's back shape.
For riders who prefer short, integrated panels, the Top Dressage KK saddle offers the ideal solution. The short, integrated panels allow for more precise positioning of the saddle on the horse's back. Here too, "wedge panels" are integrated to increase seating comfort.
The seat of the Prestige Top Dressage saddle is deep, which allows the rider a secure and stable hold. By choosing the version with wedge panels and extra-large thigh blocks, you get the same features as the discontinued Modena model. This saddle is perfect for riders who value a comfortable and stable sitting position.
New is the option to order the Prestige Top Dressage saddle with colored stitching and piping. This allows the saddle to be individually designed and becomes a real eye-catcher.
Overall, the Prestige Top Dressage saddle offers the best quality, comfort, and adjustment options. With this saddle, you are perfectly equipped for any dressage test.
Advantages:
- Variety of available panels for optimal adjustment
- Two versions: Standard and with "wedge panels"
- Top Dressage KK available with short panels
- Deep seat feeling for optimal support in dressage riding
- Extra-large thigh blocks available on request
- Colored stitching and piping possible
- Numerous panel designs for individual adjustment.
Prestige Saddle Configurator
Here you will find the options for individually configuring your Prestige saddle. Please note that not every option is available for every model.
First, select the leather type as a variation (if multiple leather types are available). In the next step, click the "Configure" button and follow the individual steps. Finally, you can add the selected configuration to your shopping cart and complete the purchase.
Please note the delivery time of the saddle. Usually, the saddle is produced individually according to your selection criteria.
For this reason, a return of a configured saddle (right of withdrawal) is not possible.
Tree
The tree is specified for each model and cannot be individually selected. You can find out which tree is installed in which model in the product description of the saddle.
The following trees are available from Prestige:
Standard
The standard tree from Prestige is made of plastic. The material is particularly stable, resistant to external influences such as moisture, and lightweight. The gullet width can be thermally changed with a special machine.
X-Technology Tree
Depending on the saddle model, this tree has one or no cutout in the front part and two cutouts in the rear area where the seat bones rest. The cutouts are covered with elastic rubber membranes.
Advantages
The membranes increase the rider's comfort and stability. For female riders, the feeling of comfort and stability is even more pronounced with trees that offer a wider seat in the rear part, such as in the X-D2, X-Perience, and X-Contact K models (unisex effect).
For whom does X-Technology make sense?
• For those who seek a close feeling to the horse: it is guaranteed by the membranes on which the rider's seat bones rest when sitting in the saddle;
• for those who seek a more comfortable seat with consistent athletic performance;
• for those riders who desire more stability in the saddle. X-D2, X-Perience, and X-Contact K, thanks to the "unisex effect," can provide women with a wider pelvis, who often have difficulty achieving a close connection to the horse, a predetermined but unforced position.
X-Breath Tree
Depending on the saddle model, this tree has one or two oval cutouts in the center of the seat. The cutout is covered with an ultra-elastic honeycomb fabric, which guarantees an anatomically comfortable position for the rider, which is also balanced for the horse. The cutout also ensures greater breathability.
It is a technology applied to the tree and consists of an oval cutout in the center of the rear part of the tree. This cutout is covered by an elastic and breathable honeycomb fabric. In the X-BREATH K, there is an additional cutout in the front part of the tree.
Advantages
These cutouts provide better breathability and reduce the heat endured by the horse and rider. The rear cutout makes the seat more comfortable by relieving the spine from the stresses to which it is normally subjected. In addition, saddles with X-Breath technology are lighter.
For whom does X-Breath Technology make sense?
• For those who like a breathable and comfortable seat;
• for those riders who desire physical well-being by reducing the strain on the spine and tailbone;
• for those who are looking for a lighter saddle;
• for those who have a downhill feeling on the horse or ride a thoroughbred.
CPS Tree or “Coccyx-Protection-System”
A tree with a new geometric shape with injected membranes and a
differentiated capacity to absorb all loads and movements. This concept was developed to protect the seat bones, tailbone, and back and is visible through the soft Plexiglas viewing window at the bottom of the saddle.
Advantages
These membranes cushion all loads and movements while protecting the rider's seat bones, tailbone, and back. They were developed taking into account the anatomy of men and women.
For whom does CPS Technology make sense?
• For those who want a more elastic and softer seat: the central gray
• membrane creates a shock-absorbing feeling for the rider's spine and for the horse;
• for those who desire physical well-being;
• for those riders who seek a comfortable seat. The tree with this technology is particularly intended for female riders due to the wider rear part
• for riders who have a downhill feeling on the horse and have difficulty finding a balanced position;
• for dressage riders who have difficulty finding a deep seat feeling with a horse built downhill;
• for show jumpers who want to get back in the saddle faster after a jump.
Leather Type and Color
The following leather variations and colors are available:
Cuoio
Prestige's standard leather is a smooth full-grain leather or grained leather.
D
Doubled small and large saddle flaps. In calfskin or cowhide. Thickness: 4.3mm.
Lux
Oiled doubled calfskin or 4.5mm thick grained leather that undergoes a long tanning process for optimal grip.
Super
4.5mm thick, very soft and robust grained leather that undergoes natural tanning.
Elite
Doubled small and large saddle flaps (5.2mm thickness). Smooth leather or grained leather that undergoes natural tanning.
Seat Size
The seat size is an important aspect when buying a saddle, as this size cannot be changed later. When choosing the seat size, the bearing surface of the horse's back, the size or leg length, and the weight of the rider should play a role.
Recommended maximum weight for each seat size:
- Seat size 15: 40 kg
- Seat size 16: 41-55 kg
- Seat size 17: 56-79 kg
- Seat size 18: 80-120 kg
Gullet Width
For most Prestige models, a gullet width from 31 to 37 can be selected. The gullet widths from 31 to 37 are always 1 cm larger or narrower (measured at the end of the tree points) for each gullet width compared to the standard size 33. For the models X-D2, X-D2 K, X-D2 K FREE, X-D1, X-D1 K, X-D1 SC, and D1 SC, the tree sizes are divided as follows:
- S: up to gullet width 32
- M: gullet widths 33 and 34 (X-D2 K Free 32 and 33)
- L: from gullet width 35
Saddle Panels
Wool Panels or Classic Padded Panels
Classic saddle panels filled with synthetic wool. These panels can be very well adjusted by a saddle fitter.
LPF Panels:
Panels filled with synthetic fiber Dacron, honeycomb mesh, and a thin layer of rubber. Thanks to this special composition, these panels are lighter than classic panels. These panels can also be very well adjusted by a saddle fitter. LPF (Light Performance Fit) panels consist of an Airnet shell and foam towards the horse's back. The filling is made of Dacron, a synthetic wool fiber.
Advantages
These panels are light, elastic, and easy to modify. They also adapt very well to the modern horse. These panels combine the reduced thickness and close-to-the-horse feeling typical of latex panels with the shock-absorbing and highly adaptable properties of a padded panel.
For whom do LPF panels make sense?
For those riders who do not want to forego the feeling of being close to the horse, but believe that an optimally fitting saddle is an essential prerequisite for the horse's well-being and performance.
Latex Panels:
Pre-formed foam panels made of expanded polyurethane.
Saddle Flaps
Basically, a distinction is made between standard saddle flaps, i.e., double saddle flaps with a sweat flap against the horse and a saddle flap or large saddle pocket on top, and mono saddle flaps (K), in which only one saddle flap is installed. The mono version usually allows for somewhat closer contact with the horse's body and always has long girth straps.
The saddle flap is always fixed for the model and cannot be configured. For monoflap saddles, you will always find a K in the saddle name.
- Standard: Double flap saddles
- K: Monoflap saddles
Forward Cut of the Saddle Flap
The forward cut describes the forward design of the saddle flap. Especially riders with particularly long legs usually find more room for their legs with more forward cut and can thus generally shorten the stirrup and balance themselves better. However, care should be taken with the forward cut, as too much forward cut can quickly restrict the horse's shoulder freedom.
The following forward cut options are available from Prestige:
- A-2: -2cm
- A Standard
- A+2 / A: +2cm
- A+4 / AA: +4cm
- A+6 / AAA: +6cm
Length of the Saddle Flap
The length of the saddle flap describes the downward length of the saddle flap. The length of the saddle flap should also correlate with the rider's body height.
- XS -5cm
- S -2.5cm
- M 0 (standard)
- L +2.5cm
- XL +5cm
- XXL +7cm
As far as jumping saddles are concerned, these will also have a bit more forward cut at the front with longer saddle flaps.
Shoulder Free Version SF
Available in classic padded and latex panels, but only on some models. Special panels, specially developed for more shoulder freedom. Particularly suitable for horses with pronounced shoulders.
