Product description
The comfortably cut Border wax jacket is a perfect all-rounder for tall men and can be easily worn over a suit. Barbour's legendary bestseller has a slightly longer cut, a generous fit and extended sleeve cuffs. Designed in the early 1980s by Managing Director Dame Margaret Barbour, the Border was named after the border between Scotland and England, which company founder John Barbour crossed in 1870 to settle in South Shields, where Barbour is still based today. Made from 6oz waxed cotton, this men's jacket can be adapted to current weather conditions in an instant with an optional hood and a zip-in thermal lining. Characteristic details such as two large bellows pockets, two moleskin-lined handwarmer pockets, a soft corduroy collar with snap fasteners and the 2-way zip with snap fastener placket give the Border an unmistakable look.
