The slightly longer cut Beaufort waxed jacket can be comfortably worn over a blazer. Characteristic details such as the soft corduroy collar, a robust 2-way zipper, and practical handwarmer pockets give the weatherproof waxed jacket an unmistakable classic look. Distinctive features of the jacket include a zippered pocket on the back, an easily accessible zippered pocket under the storm flap, and the cotton lining with a tartan pattern. The sleeve ends have a polyester insert on the inside, which is adjustable with a Velcro fastener and protects against penetrating moisture. To this day, the jacket made of waxed cotton is produced in the company's own manufacturing facility in South Shields, Northeast England.
