   The good feeling that in an emergency the right thing can be done quickly and that my family will come to me quickly! With the USG-SOS emergency management, fast individual help is possible - and that can be life-saving. With the help of the emergency data, relatives and the stable owner can be notified - so that, for example, the horse is also well cared for. If someone is seriously injured and unresponsive, contact with the treating family doctor can be crucial, because if the patient needs special medication, it can be administered quickly and in the correct dosage. Especially in the case of allergies or severe pre-existing conditions, such information can be very important.
   
   
3. How much does USG-SOS cost me?
   USG-SOS is a component of the multifaceted USG safety concept for riders. When purchasing a newUSG safety vest or a USG airbag protector, all riders receive a free USG-SOS safety tag. (excluding safety vest Eco-Flexi)
   If you don't want to buy a new riding safety vest, you can also purchase the USG-SOS safety tag separately at an RRP of approx. €10.00. Another way to protect yourself with USG-SOS is the USG-SOS wristband. It is available at an RRP of approx. €25.00.
   
   
4. How secure is my personal data with USG-SOS and is it really always available?
   High data protection measures have been taken to protect sensitive emergency data from unauthorized access. The emergency data is stored on a highly secure medical server located in Germany. Powerful servers in an air-conditioned environment and 24-hour technical support ensure that the emergency data can be accessed permanently. Access to www.usg-sos.com is platform-independent and can be done worldwide from any internet browser, as it is not an app. The multilingualism of the platform ensures that the emergency information is understood all over the world.
   
   
5. How can I use USG-SOS?
   With the help of the ID code and PIN, each user who wants to participate defines their personal secret password, so that only they can change the data. Anyone who enters the ID and PIN from the tag/wristband on www.usg-sos.com can only view the information, not change it.
   
   
6. What happens if I lose my safety tag or wristband, or if it's broken?
   A newly purchased carrier medium can easily be integrated as a new medium into your existing emergency account, so that it is linked to your existing personalized emergency data. Simply select the "Carrier media new & active" tile in the main menu and then "Activate new medium". Here you can enter the ID and PIN of the new carrier medium. Please note that this new carrier medium must then still be activated with personal secret access data!
   
   
7. Where do I attach the USG-SOS tag?
   Anywhere it is securely attached and clearly visible, ideally on the Velcro fastener that connects the front and back of the safety vest at shoulder height. If you want to use the USG-SOS tag to make your horse identifiable, you can also attach the tag to the horse's halter/bridle.
   
   
8. What information do I have to provide?
   Only the information I want to provide or that seems useful to me. USG-SOS can be used individually: Whether I only provide the contact details of my relatives, my doctor or the stable operator, or whether I want to provide my address, vaccinations or illnesses, is entirely up to me. However, if I have an allergy or pre-existing condition such as diabetes, this information helps the rescue workers or the emergency doctor a lot with optimal first aid and can even be life-saving.
   
   
9. Why is a USG-SOS tag attached to my new safety vest?
   USG offers a well-tried and sophisticated protection concept for riders: Every rider will find the right thing for their individual protective equipment here. Part of this is also USG-SOS, because quick personalized help can save lives in an emergency.
   
   
10. Can I also remove the USG-SOS safety tag?
    Of course. The tag can simply be removed, and the rider will then not participate in the emergency management system. They can also participate at a later date or pass the tag on to someone else who wants to use USG-SOS.
