The USG development team continuously works on innovative products to further optimize the design and function of bits. We would like to introduce you to the USG Happy Apple Bit Loose Ring Double Jointed from the USG range today:

The USG Happy Apple Bit Loose Ring Double Jointed is made of plastic and features loose rings as cheekpieces. The mouthpiece of this bit is double-jointed.

Bit Material

Plastic

Food-grade plastic is used for bits, which means no plasticizers are used and it is well tolerated by horses. The particularly smooth texture ensures that the bit can slide easily in the mouth, even with little salivation.

Manufacturer Information

Mouthpiece

Double Jointed

Double jointed mouthpieces are suitable for many horses. This mouthpiece has two hinges, is shaped more towards the mouth, and sits a little looser in the horse's mouth. This bit exerts pressure on the tongue, bars, and corners of the mouth. The bit should not be used on horses with narrow lower jaws. The joints can press on the bars with a narrow lower jaw. Compared to a single-jointed bit, this bit exerts more pressure on the tongue.

Cheekpiece

Loose Ring

The loose ring bit has two freely moving rings at each end. A movable ring means greater mobility of the bit in the mouth. The USG Happy Apple Bit Loose Ring Double Jointed is therefore ideal for beginners and horses that are somewhat inactive in the mouth.
