The Trust Bit Sweet Iron Loose Ring Roller Bit is made of Sweet Iron and features loose ring cheek pieces. The mouthpiece of this bit is single-jointed.

Bit Thickness

The mouthpiece has a thickness of 16mm at its widest point. It is therefore a medium-thick mouthpiece.

For comparison, the standard thickness for a normal warmblood is between 16mm and 18mm. For ponies, this value is usually between 10mm and 14mm. Very large warmbloods, draft horses, and Shire Horses usually require a bit thicker than 18mm. A thickness of 12mm is usually suitable for a pony.
