The mouthpiece of this bit is a Dr. Bristol, which means a flat plate as the center piece of a double-jointed mouthpiece. The mouthpiece has a width of 11.5 centimeters. The 11.5cm mouthpiece size is normally ideal for Thoroughbreds.
