The mouthpiece of this bit is double jointed. The bit has a size of 13.5 centimeters. This mouthpiece size is generally well suited for an average warmblood.

Bit Thickness

The mouthpiece has a thickness of 16 millimeters at its thickest point. It is therefore a medium-thick mouthpiece.

A double-jointed mouthpiece is a very common mouthpiece. This mouthpiece has two joints, is more shaped towards the mouth, and lies a little looser in the horse's mouth. This bit exerts pressure on the tongue, bars, and corners of the mouth. Caution with narrow lower jaws! The joints can press on the bars in a narrow lower jaw. The double-jointed bit exerts more pressure on the tongue compared to single-jointed bits.
