The Trust Bit Sweet Iron D-Ring French Link Copper Plate 16mm 12.5 is made of Sweet Iron and equipped with D-shaped rings as cheek pieces. The mouthpiece of this bit is a French Link, an eight-shaped plate as the center piece of a double-jointed mouthpiece. The bit has a mouthpiece size of 12.5 centimeters. This mouthpiece size is generally well suited for sporty thoroughbreds.

Bit Thickness

The mouthpiece has a thickness of 20 millimeters at its thickest point. It is therefore a rather thick mouthpiece.

Comparison values: normal warmbloods 16 - 18mm, ponies rather 10 - 14mm, thoroughbreds 12 - 16mm and particularly large warmbloods, cold-bloods and Shires Horses rather 18mm and larger.
