The Trust Bit Sweet Iron D-Ring Single Jointed 16mm 11.5 is made of Sweet Iron and features D-shaped rings as cheekpieces. The mouthpiece of this bit is single jointed. The bit has a size of 11.5 centimeters. The 11.5cm mouthpiece size is usually ideal for Thoroughbreds.

Bit Thickness

The mouthpiece has a thickness of 16mm at its thickest point. This makes it a rather medium-thick mouthpiece.

For comparison, the standard thickness for a normal warmblood is between 16mm and 18mm. For ponies, this value is typically between 10mm and 14mm.
