Gag Snaffle
The gag snaffle is a combination of a gag bit and a full cheek snaffle. The full cheek snaffle restricts the horse laterally and provides stability, also preventing the bit rings from slipping through. The gag bit is connected to the bridle via gag cheek pieces, which are pulled through the bit rings. This achieves a leveraged action depending on the degree of rein engagement.
