The Trust Sweet Iron Gag Snaffle, Single-Jointed 16mm 14.5 is made of Sweet Iron and equipped with gag cheeks as side pieces. The mouthpiece of this bit is single-jointed. The mouthpiece has a width of 14.5 centimeters. This mouthpiece size is generally well suited for very large warmbloods.

Gag Snaffle
The gag snaffle combines the action of a gag bit and a D-ring snaffle. The D-ring snaffle limits the horse laterally and gives it stability, and also prevents the bit rings from slipping through. The gag bit is connected to the bridle via gag cheekpieces, which are threaded through the bit rings. This achieves a leveraged effect depending on the degree of rein engagement.
