The Trust Bit Sweet Iron 2.5-Ring Double-Jointed 16mm 13.5 is made of Sweet Iron and equipped with 3-ring side pieces. The mouthpiece of this bit is double-jointed. The mouthpiece has a width of 13.5 centimeters. This mouthpiece size is generally suitable for a normal warmblood.

Bit Thickness

The mouthpiece has a thickness of 16 millimeters at its thickest point. It is therefore a medium-thick mouthpiece.

This bit exerts pressure on the tongue, the bars and the corners of the mouth. Caution with narrow lower jaws! The joints can press on the bars with a narrow lower jaw. The double-jointed bit exerts more pressure on the tongue compared to single-jointed bits.

The three-ring bit combines effective lateral restriction, leverage, and lift in one bit. The degree of action is chosen by the various rein attachment options.
