The bit range from Trust Equestrian provides soft but effective impulses for better communication between rider and horse. Today, we would like to introduce the Trust Bit Inno Sense Loose Ring Snaffle with Large Rings, Ported, Hard, 20mm, 13.5cm from the Trust Equestrian range in more detail:
The Trust Bit Inno Sense Loose Ring Snaffle with Large Rings, Ported, Hard, 20mm, 13.5cm is made of plastic and equipped with loose ring snaffle cheekpieces, i.e. rings. The mouthpiece of this bit is a bar. The hardness of the mouthpiece material is rather hard, almost rigid. The mouthpiece has a width of 13.5 centimeters. The 13.5cm mouthpiece size is usually ideal for smaller and normal warmbloods.
Bit thickness
The bit is 20mm thick, measured at the thickest part in the area of the horse's lips. It is therefore a rather thick mouthpiece.
Comparison values: normal warmbloods 16 - 18mm, ponies rather 10 - 14mm, thoroughbreds 12 - 16mm, and particularly large warmbloods, cold-blooded horses and Shire horses rather 18mm and larger.
When selecting the bit thickness and size, pay attention to the anatomical conditions of the horse's mouth. You can use your fingers to test how much space there is between the tongue and palate.
Bit material
Plastic
Food-grade plastic is used for bits, which means no plasticizers are used, and it is well tolerated by horses. The particularly smooth texture ensures that the bit can glide easily in the mouth, even with little salivation.
Manufacturer information
Trust Equestrian
The Dutch bit manufacturer Trust Equestrian is characterized by innovation and craftsmanship. With the Inno Sense and Sweet Iron series, they are breaking new ground. The products are continuously developed by Trust's technical teams and strictly quality-controlled.
Mouthpiece
Bar bits
A bar is usually straight or slightly curved to adapt to the anatomical conditions in the horse's mouth. A bar mouthpiece has a sharper action than a single-jointed or double-jointed mouthpiece.
Cheekpiece
Loose ring snaffle
A loose-running ring characterizes a loose ring snaffle. A movable ring means greater mobility of the bit in the mouth. The Trust Bit Inno Sense Loose Ring Snaffle with Large Rings, Ported, Hard, 20mm, 13.5cm is therefore a bit for horses that prefer a more "mobile" bit in their mouth.
