The Trust Inno Sense Half Cheek Bit with flexi soft Ported Mouthpiece 20mm 13.5 is made of plastic and equipped with half cheeks as sidepieces. The mouthpiece of this bit is a straight bar. The hardness of the mouthpiece material is rather soft, i.e., flexible. The mouthpiece has a size of 13.5 centimeters. The 13.5cm mouthpiece size is usually ideal for smaller and normal warmbloods.

Bit thickness

The bit is 20mm thick, measured at the thickest point in the area of the horse's lips. It is therefore a rather thick mouthpiece.

Comparative values: normal warmbloods 16 - 18mm, ponies rather 10 - 14mm, thoroughbreds 12 - 16mm and particularly large warmbloods, cold-blooded horses and Shire Horses rather 18mm and larger.

Half Cheek Bit

The Half Cheek bit is a combination of a gag bit and a D-ring snaffle. The D-ring snaffle limits the horse laterally and gives it stability, and also prevents the bit rings from slipping through. The gag bit is connected to the bridle via gag cheek pieces that are pulled through the bit rings. This achieves a levered action depending on the degree of rein engagement.
