The Trust Equestrian bit range provides gentle yet effective impulses for better communication between rider and horse. We would like to introduce you to the Trust Inno Sense Beval Straight Hard Bit from the Trust Equestrian range in a little more detail today:
The Trust Inno Sense Beval Straight Hard bit is made of plastic and equipped with so-called universal rings. The mouthpiece of this bit is a straight bar. The hardness of the mouthpiece material is rather hard, almost rigid.
Bit thickness
The mouthpiece has a thickness of 20 millimeters at its thickest point. This makes it a rather thick mouthpiece.
Comparison values: normal warmbloods 16 - 18mm, ponies rather 10 - 14mm, thoroughbreds 12 - 16mm and particularly large warmbloods, cold-bloods and Shire Horses rather 18mm and larger.
When choosing the bit thickness and size, pay attention to the anatomical conditions of the horse's mouth. You can use your fingers to test how much space there is between the tongue and palate.
Bit material
Plastic
Food-grade plastic is used for bits, which means no plasticizers are used and it is well tolerated by horses. The particularly smooth texture ensures that the bit can slide easily in the mouth, even with little salivation.
Manufacturer Information
Trust Equestrian
The Dutch bit manufacturer Trust Equestrian is characterized by innovation and craftsmanship. With the Inno Sense and Sweet Iron series, they are breaking new ground. The products are continuously developed by Trust's technical teams and strictly quality controlled.
Mouthpiece
Straight bar bits
A straight bar is usually straight or slightly curved to adapt to the anatomical conditions in the horse's mouth. A straight bar mouthpiece has a sharper effect than a single-jointed or double-jointed mouthpiece.
Cheekpiece
Universal/Swivel
The universal bit, also known as Beval or Swivel, usually has rings as cheekpieces, with internal eyelets at the top and bottom. These allow for additional attachment of cheekpieces and reins, making the bit very flexible. With the Beval, the mouthpiece is attached to a central axis of the ring.
