The Trust Bit Inno Sense 2.5 Ring Olive Head flexi soft Tongue Bow Bar 20mm 13.5 is made of plastic and equipped with 2.5 ring side pieces. The mouthpiece of this bit is a bar. The hardness of the mouthpiece material is rather soft, i.e. flexible. The mouthpiece has a width of 13.5 centimetres. This mouthpiece size is generally well suited for a normal warmblood.

Bit thickness

The mouthpiece has a thickness of 20mm at its thickest point. This makes it a rather thick mouthpiece.

For comparison, the standard thickness for a normal warmblood is between 16mm and 18mm. For ponies, this value is more like 10mm to 14mm. Very large warmbloods, cold-blooded horses and Shire Horses usually need a bit thicker than 18mm. A thickness of 12mm is usually suitable for a pony.

When choosing the bit thickness and size, pay attention to the anatomical conditions of the horse's mouth. You can use your fingers to test how much space there is between the tongue and the palate.

Combines an effective lateral limitation, leverage and lifting action in one bit, while usually being somewhat softer than a 3-ring bit. The degree of action is chosen by the different attachment options of the reins. If buckled in the lower ring, the engaging rein exerts the effect of a short lever on the bit.
