Why should my sport horse receive Vitamin E?
In horses, Vitamin E is traditionally associated with supporting supple muscles. Vitamin E for horses can support rehabilitation phases in horses with inflammatory diseases.
Since Vitamin E is fat-soluble, it should always be fed to horses with a small amount of linseed oil. Only then can the body truly benefit fully from the vitamin and utilize it optimally.
Vitamin E is considered a cell-protective vitamin. It is a so-called antioxidant. This means it can protect the organism from cell-damaging oxygen radicals, which particularly occur under high physical stress (e.g., in sport horses during training or competition).
Did you know that Vitamin E even protects valuable B vitamins and Vitamin A from damage? For this reason alone, supplementing horses with Vitamin E is considered beneficial.
