Horse sweat contains a high concentration of sodium, potassium, and especially chloride. Oral administration of the 2:2:1 Superlyte Syringe - which contains sodium, potassium, and chloride - replenishes depleted mineral stores after exertion.
TRM developed the 2:2:1 Superlyte Paste to meet the demand from some trainers for an electrolyte balancing dosing syringe. This resulted in a practical and easy-to-use option for rapid electrolyte balance.
The longer the physical activity or stress lasts and the higher the temperature and humidity, the greater the electrolyte loss and the more necessary its rapid replenishment becomes.
Composition: Sodium acetate, sodium chloride, magnesium chloride
Additives (per 1kg): Potassium acetate 61,540mg, calcium lactate 55,600mg
Analytical constituents: Sodium 4.914%, calcium 0.77%, potassium 2.457%, magnesium 0.386%, chloride 4.9%
Instructions for correct use:
After training: Administer one syringe of 2:2:1 Superlyte Paste
Before and/or after competition or race: Administer one syringe of 2:2:1 Superlyte Paste
During transport, or in hot weather: Administer one syringe of 2:2:1 Superlyte Paste
