Hemorex Powder provides all the nutrients to maintain the elasticity and integrity of the capillaries to withstand the stress and strain of racing. It provides a unique combination of bioflavonoids, vitamin K and vitamin C.
Bioflavonoids can support the horse's lungs by strengthening and restoring the elasticity of the capillaries. Vitamin K is essential in the formation of prothrombin as well as three other blood-thickening proteins. Vitamin C is a strong antioxidant, necessary to protect capillary membranes from oxidation-induced damage.
It has been estimated that approximately 75% of all racehorses will bleed at some point in their career. While bleeding from the nostrils is only observed in about 1% of sport horses, endoscopy has proven that it is much more widespread. It is mainly attributed to excessively high blood pressure in the horse's pulmonary circulation during hard competition. While it was previously claimed that this problem only occurs in thoroughbreds due to the particularly short-term, intensive stress during the race, it has since been confirmed that this problem can occur in all common sports. Appropriate nutrients are therefore important to administer at the time of competitions in horses with lung problems.

Instructions for proper use:
All horses: Administer 50g daily for an initial 10 days. Thereafter, reduce to 25g daily.
