Electrolyte Gold is a scientifically formulated product that contains essential electrolytes and vitamins in a combination of an amino acid and a glucose base.
It replenishes essential electrolytes lost through sweating. Electrolyte Gold contains a concentrated amount of antioxidant vitamins. Vitamin E (1,000 IU per 50g sachet) and Vitamin C (750mg per 50g sachet). These two antioxidant vitamins protect muscle tissue by eliminating free radicals, which are harmful by-products of physical exertion. Electrolyte Gold contains the amino acid Glycine, which has proven very helpful in improving electrolyte absorption in the gastrointestinal tract. Electrolyte Gold contains a glucose base for enhanced absorption of these essential electrolytes.
Horses cool their bodies primarily through increased sweating. Not only water, but also essential electrolytes are lost. Low electrolyte levels in horses can lead to poor performance - due to dehydration, muscle problems such as "tying up," and lactic acid buildup in the muscles. Instructions for proper use:
Mix Electrolyte Gold into the normal amount of feed or, dissolved in water, administer directly into the mouth.
Before a race or competition: One 50g sachet daily
In hot weather and during transport: One 50g sachet daily
Horses in light training: One 50g sachet every other day.
Note: Always provide fresh drinking water.
