Product description
Beta Carotene, Folic Acid & Vitamin E has been specially developed for breeders to ensure optimal preparation for winter breeding. Regulates and improves the fertility and receptiveness of broodmares.
When beta-carotene is fully absorbed, it reaches the corpus luteum in the ovaries. The corpus luteum plays an important role in controlling the mare's healthy estrus. Beta-carotene is an essential nutrient that mares need to produce the pregnancy hormone progesterone. Folic acid belongs to the vitamin B complex. Research has shown that a deficiency of this vitamin occurs in stable horses that get little or no pasture access. During pregnancy, there is an increased need for folic acid.
Vitamin E is an essential fertility guarantee for the mare. A vitamin E deficiency in the mare can lead to damage to the foal.
TRM has developed a unique product that provides these essential vitamins at the critical time. If these vitamins are missing, the consequences can be: silent estrus, low fertility.
Beta Carotene, Folic Acid & Vitamin E are found freely in nature, especially during periods of fresh grass. During winter breeding for thoroughbreds, the vitamin content now clearly falls below the normal requirement. TRM has developed this unique product specifically for breeders to help them optimally prepare their mares for winter breeding. Important research has highlighted the positive effect of beta-carotene on mare fertility.
