Stübben Back Protector Pro

With the revised Pro back protector, Stübben sets new standards and is state-of-the-art in the back protector segment. Together with the leading manufacturer in the field of protector vests for motorcyclists, skiers and boarders, Stübben has revised and optimized its existing protector range. With the Pro back protector, Stübben presents a modern and flexible back protector that protects the rider from injuries to the spine and rib area in the event of a fall. The Pro back protector is characterized by its sandwich construction; the thermoelastic foams contribute to an even distribution of the impact force and thus minimize the risk of spinal injuries. The Pro back protector not only impresses with its high safety standards, but also with its excellent fit. The Pro back protector is one of the lightest Level 2 protectors and offers riders maximum freedom of movement when in use. Visually striking is its understated but cool design. Black on black with blue highlights means riders are perfectly dressed for any occasion. As a special feature, all adult protectors are equipped with a small, lockable zippered pocket on the left side.

APPLICATION
When used and aligned correctly, the protector provides protection against blunt trauma. It can also reduce or prevent injuries such as abrasions and bruises in the spine and rib areas. We point out that back protectors cannot completely exclude injuries.
Body heat causes it to adapt to the contour of the body, thus providing a secure fit with maximum wearing comfort, which is why the protector should be worn as close to the body as possible.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The protectors must be correctly aligned in the designated pockets. Please note the marking on the protectors. The protective effect of the protector can be impaired below 5°C (-10° for appropriately tested models). The protectors must be checked regularly, especially after a fall, for visible damage and replaced if defective. Changes or incorrect use can severely impair the protective effect.
The Stübben Pro back protector is certified according to motorcycle standard EN 1621-2. The protective devices are considered PPE category 2 and offer protection against medium risks. We recommend replacing the back protector after approx. 5 years, provided it is handled properly.

CLEANING
The protective vest can be hand-washed up to 5 times using a mild detergent (at 30°C, do not spin, do not tumble dry).
Please ensure that the protector inserts are back in their original positions after washing. For long-term care, the manufacturer recommends removing any dirt from the protector with a damp cloth. Please do not use solvents or other chemical substances for cleaning.
