The Stübben STEELtec Weymouth snaffle bit is made of stainless steel and equipped with smaller sides as a bradoon for Weymouth bits. The mouthpiece of this bit is single-jointed.

A single-jointed bit has one hinge point, which exerts less pressure on the tongue than a double-jointed mouthpiece. A single-jointed mouthpiece primarily exerts pressure on the bars and the sides of the tongue and can also affect the palate. The Weymouth snaffle is used in combination with a Weymouth bit. It is available in single and double-jointed mouthpiece variations.
