Bit Material
Stainless steel

To obtain stainless steel, the steel is mixed with various metals to form different alloys. The most commonly used alloy for stainless steel bits consists of steel, chromium, and nickel.
Manufacturer Information
Mouthpiece
Double jointed
Double-jointed mouthpieces are suitable for many horses. This mouthpiece has two joints, is more shaped towards the mouth, and lies a little looser in the horse's mouth. This bit applies pressure to the tongue, the bars, and the corners of the mouth. This bit should not be used on horses with narrow lower jaws. The hinge points can press on the bars, which can lead to sores. Compared to a single-jointed bit, this bit exerts more pressure on the tongue.
Cheek Piece
Baucher/Fillis
The Stübben STEELtec Easy Control Baucher Snaffle Bit, Double Jointed, 14mm is a Baucher bit, also known as a B-snaffle, Fillis, or Fillet bit. This bit is suitable for horses that are sensitive to poll pressure. It lies very quietly in the mouth and particularly encourages horses that carry their heads very high to lower them and become lighter in the poll. The B-snaffle strongly resembles a Pelham in the upper part of the bit, as, like with the Pelham, the cheekpiece is attached to the upper, small ring. However, the rein does not act on the bit via a lever and therefore exerts little pressure on the poll.
