Passier Avior Jumping Saddle
This advantageously shaped jumping saddle is ideal for riders seeking an optimal seating experience. The semi-deep seat, pre-formed knee rolls, and large thigh and calf blocks provide very good support, even over jumps.
The saddle panel for more wither clearance ensures an optimal fit on the horse's back with the greatest possible freedom of movement for the horse. The carefully applied decorative stitching on the saddle flaps creates a good impression from every perspective.
The Passier Avior jumping saddle is made from European cowhide leather and features Selloil leather on the seat, knee rolls, and panels. The synthetic saddle tree, pre-formed knee rolls, and large thigh and calf blocks make the saddle particularly durable.
The Passier Avior jumping saddle is available with sparkling Premium Crystals and design variations on the cantle.
Passier Saddle Configurator
With us, you can configure your Passier dream saddle individually according to your wishes. We will show you which features you can customize.
Saddle Tree
First: You cannot choose the saddle tree for every saddle, as it depends on the saddle model. The heart of every saddle is the saddle tree. Its development and further development are therefore central to every saddle manufacturer. Passier uses two different saddle trees, the PS saddle tree and the synthetic saddle tree (K-saddle tree). Both offer numerous advantages.
Due to their high flexibility in the longitudinal axis, both saddle trees can move with the horse even in turns – the spine remains free. The narrow waist of the saddle trees allows riders to sit very deeply in the saddle. The adjustable gullets ensure that Passier saddles can be adapted to any horse even later. The short gullet plates ensure that the horse's shoulder has particularly free movement. Thus, both saddle trees are guarantors of the greatest horse-friendliness.
There are basically two different types of saddle trees at Passier:
K-Tree or Synthetic Tree
The K-saddle tree is made of an elastomer, a material that cannot break under normal use and is therefore capable of meeting the highest demands. Passier saddles with a K-saddle tree are available in five sizes from 16" to 18".

Color
Passier saddles are available in Black, Havana, and Teak.
Important to know: Real leather is a natural product. This means that each leather hide can absorb a dye differently. Therefore, different color nuances within one color are possible. These give Passier saddles, bridles, and accessories their unmistakable, natural, and elegant look.
For all colors, the greatest possible colorfastness and color stability are paramount. With proper care, the colors are guaranteed to remain consistent.
Passier offers the following colors:
- Black
- Havana (dark brown)
- Teak (light brown)
Leather Finish
Leather is a high-quality natural product. At Passier, great importance is placed on the highest quality of raw materials. Therefore, only the best European leather is used for Passier products. After a strict quality control, the ideal cut is chosen from each leather hide to ensure the highest quality of the products. Small visible scars, insect bites, or neck folds emphasize the naturalness and sustainability of the quality leathers used. Passier products have a very long lifespan with good care and therefore often still look natural and high-quality even after decades.
Cowhide Leather
This high-quality saddle flap leather is used for all saddles with K-saddle trees. It is a very durable and long-lasting leather that has been used at Passier for over ten years in consistently high quality. Cowhide leather is available in Black, Havana, and Teak.
Natural Grip Leather (NGL)
Natural Grip Leather is a very soft saddle flap leather with excellent grip. It is tanned with natural waxes and valuable vegetable and animal oils and is used on all Passier saddles with PS saddle trees without doubling. Natural Grip Leather is available in Black and Havana. It is also available for saddles with K-saddle trees at an additional cost,
Selloil Leather
Selloil leather is characterized by its particular softness and high grip. It is used as seat, knee roll, and panel leather. The special non-slip property gives riders good hold and ensures a comfortable and secure fit of the saddle on the horse's back. Selloil leather is available in Black, Havana, and Teak.
DeLuxe Doubling
The extra-soft DeLuxe doubling ensures a particularly soft riding feeling. The secret: A soft 2 mm foam rubber insert is located between the saddle flap and the soft Selloil upper leather. The result is unique: maximum grip with the highest comfort!

Gullet Shape
Standard Gullet
The gullet can be adjusted in width, even multiple times! Available in K-tree and PS-tree.
Widened Gullet
The widened gullet is used for horses with high, wide withers and simplifies saddle fitting. Available for saddles with PS-saddle trees.
frt-System®
The frt-System® with anatomically shaped gullet plates allows the horse's shoulder free movement. Available for saddles with PS-saddle trees.
Gullet Width
When you buy a Passier saddle from a specialist dealer, it should always have the gullet width that is optimal for your horse. Most Passier saddles are delivered with a gullet width of 27.5 cm, so this can be considered a "standard size." However, saddles with a gullet width of 26.5 cm, i.e., slightly narrower than standard, with a gullet width of 28.5 cm, i.e., slightly wider than standard, and with a gullet width of 29.5 cm, i.e., extra wide, are also common. In addition, the adjustable gullet of Passier saddles can be adjusted by a specialist in 0.5 cm increments to all widths from 23.5 cm to 32.0 cm. Here, the optimal width is guaranteed for every pony or horse! Important: Passier gullet widths are not comparable to those of other manufacturers, as Passier's gullet plates are shorter for particularly great shoulder and freedom of movement for the horse.
- Available gullet widths: 23.5 to 32
- Standard at 27.5
Panel Options
Standard Panels
Passier saddle panels are filled with synthetic wool, which has particular advantages: It does not absorb moisture, is permanently elastic and soft in use, it can be processed without bumps or knots, and it has a very high recovery force. This makes Passier panels particularly elastic and horse-friendly.
"The Lifter" Panels
The optimal saddle panels for horses with high withers and a deep back (sloping from the croup into the back), where more panel height is required in the rear area. Due to its short, round shape, "The Lifter" saddle panels quickly clear the horse's back and thus cannot press.
Front Wedge Panel
A front wedge panel allows for more padding volume in the front area of the saddle. The use of a front wedge panel is therefore particularly suitable for horses with hollows, as these can be compensated very well.
Panel Height
Flat, medium, high wedge panel - Due to the rear wedge panel, the saddle panel has an enlarged contact surface and a very good fit, and subsequent changes can be made more easily. Starting from the medium wedge panel height, a flat wedge panel is approx. 1 cm flatter, a high wedge panel is approx. 1 cm higher.
Saddle Tree Options
Queen-Special Solution
The special recess in the front pubic area under the soft seat mattress provides lasting pressure relief and a heavenly soft seating experience. Available for all saddles with PS-saddle tree.
Cantle opened 15° wider
This cantle offers more space and freedom of movement in the saddle, with the same seat size. This means that for horses with a short back, a whole seat size smaller can be chosen! Available for all dressage saddles with PS-saddle tree.
Girth Straps
Passier offers different girthing systems. Generally: Every girthing system is available for every saddle. Attaching an additional girth strap for conversion to a point billet is possible at any time at no extra charge. An additional third billet for dressage saddles and an additional point billet for jumping saddles are available at an extra charge.

- Point billet, V-girthing at the back
- Straight point billet, loop on panel base
- W-girthing
- Straight girthing
For Jumping Saddles

Blocks
Blocks provide more security and stability in the saddle and give riders good support. There is a particularly wide variety of Passier blocks, which differ depending on the saddle model.
Custom-made products are also available at an additional cost. It is possible to equip all saddle models with velcro blocks upon request.
In the configurator, you can choose between the standard block for the saddle model (see pictures) and an individual block. If you choose an individual block, we will contact you after ordering for the details.
Almost all blocks can also be ordered as velcro blocks at an additional cost.
