The Nathe TN Bit 20 mm with flexible straight bar is made of plastic and equipped with Pelham cheekpieces. The mouthpiece of this bit is a straight bar. The hardness of the mouthpiece material is rather soft, i.e. flexible.

The bit is 20mm thick, measured at the thickest point in the area of the horse's lips. This makes it a rather thick mouthpiece.

Comparison values: normal warmbloods 16 - 18mm, ponies rather 10 - 14mm, thoroughbreds 12 - 16mm and particularly large warmbloods, cold-bloods and Shire Horses rather 18mm and larger.
