What's special
The Classic waterproof combo fly rug protects your horse from flies and rain. The rug is therefore perfect for rainy but warm days from early spring to autumn. The combination of materials ensures that the rug is extremely breathable and creates a lasting feel-good factor for your horse.
Fabrics & materials
The top of the rug is made of our classic waterproof fabric. This fabric is 600D ripstop polyester. The material is extremely durable and therefore perfect for use in the field. The waterproof material has a water column of 10,000 mm, ensuring a dry horse's back at all times. The waterproof top is lined with a smooth and antibacterial polyester lining. The sides of the rug are made of a breathable mesh fabric to protect your horse from all types of insects. Both materials provide UV protection on sunny days and are highly breathable to prevent overheating.
Shape & size
The waterproof fly rug is anatomically shaped and closes with two front closures and two belly straps in the characteristic Kentucky style. A detachable neck is included and closes with two strong hook-and-loop fasteners. The hook-and-loop fasteners for attaching the neck to the rug are on the inside of the neck. This prevents water from getting under the rug.
Care instructions
The Classic waterproof combo fly rug is machine washable at 30 degrees. After washing, it should be air-dried; it is not suitable for tumble drying.
