The socks reduce pain caused by the pressure of the spurs on the zipper and provide relief from minor impacts or irritated Achilles tendons. The gel slowly but steadily releases medical mineral oil that softens and moisturizes the skin. Dust the gel with talcum powder if it becomes sticky.
