The Moonboots Max are a larger, but still very light version of the Moonboots, which cover the entire pastern area, but are open at the front and feature a double Velcro closure. They protect the hind fetlock joints from abrasions during jumping. The Moonboots Max offer excellent, yet lightweight protection with their Proteck Impact Gel* in the impact zones. Anatomically shaped to provide a comfortable and stable fit, the hardened shell is made of extremely light yet stable TPU, which offers protection against impacts. It features ventilation holes and a perforated neoprene lining to prevent the legs from overheating. They were developed together with leading international show jumpers, as something was still missing on the market. The boot is longer, which leads to more hind leg action in show jumping, but at the same time does not disturb the natural balance. Easy to handle, but also easy to care for, as the boots can be washed at 30° C (no tumble dryer) and retain their glossy look when cared for with our boot cleaner.

*Proteck Impact Gel is a lightweight, smart material that hardens on impact and dissipates impact energy before returning to its previous, flexible form. Laboratory tests have shown that the boots absorb external impact 50% better than any other boot currently on the market. This can even cushion an impact so severe that it could break a human bone.
