To tie your horse, first attach the Equi-Ping to the metal ring on your stable wall or horsebox, then attach your horse's lead rope to the Equi-Ping.
Should your horse spook or panic and pull back, the Equi-Ping will open at approx 176 pounds. a maximum force has been achieved to avoid injury to the horse.
Completely reusable! Once opened, the Equi-Ping can simply be re-attached to the metal ring and the mechanism pushed back together ready for re-use. In most cases it is effective 20 to 25 times before it needs replacing. Features a safety sleeve that slides over the mechanism with two small stop-buffers to hold the sleeve in place.
Also ideal for cross ties!
NOTE: When first using the Equi-Ping, we recommend that you only push two of the arrowheads into the mechanism and slide the sleeve over. You can always adjust it to have three quarters of the arrowheads engaged if you require more tension before it pings.
