Product description

This title is aimed at the large target group of advanced and quite ambitious dressage riders who also regularly want to compete with other riders. A-level dressage competitions still have the largest starting fields at tournaments; they are ridden by young people, but also by riders in their prime.

In this book, the author prepares the reader for riding A-level movements and for their competition debut. Important principles of riding instruction are reviewed, and the rider's seat is extensively refined once again. The seat is often a major weakness even for advanced riders.

What should the movements look like? What does the judge expect? How can I resolve problems, both my own and those I have with my horse in various movements? How do I train? What do I practice when? Questions upon questions are competently answered.

A book full of good tips that sends the rider into a successful show season. Britta Schön comes from a true horse family and was already in the saddle as a toddler. After graduating in 1995, Britta Schön conceived the youth magazine "Paddock - Wege zum Pferd," which she edited for two years. From 1998 to 2008, she was editor-in-chief of the specialized magazine "Pferde heute." Today, Britta Schön lives in Rhineland-Palatinate with four of her own ponies and works as a freelance specialist journalist.
