The aids via the lunge thus act simultaneously on the inner bit ring, the chin groove, and the horse's bridge of the nose, allowing even difficult-to-control horses to be safely guided on the circle line. Depending on the goal of the lunge work, it can be used with or without additional side reins, as good control of the horse's outer shoulder is possible and the snaffle bit lies very quietly in the horse's mouth.
