The Acavallo Arena Alupro Aluminum Stirrups feature new, patented, side-opening stirrups based on several years of intensive research and development. This high-tech combination of metal and polymer materials is manufactured using an innovative, patented injection molding process. Due to its design and construction based on flexible polymers, the stirrup gives the rider a less rigid and much more comfortable feel than conventional products. The upper part of the footrest is made of stainless steel and features long horizontal holes that prevent the accumulation of sand and dirt to ensure optimal grip in all conditions; stainless steel also protects it from corrosion, thus guaranteeing a long product life.
The power-operated locking and unlocking opening is located one centimeter higher than the footrest to prevent accidental lateral slipping of the foot and to prevent sand and dirt from delaying the opening of the arm in an emergency.
